The Dual-Shock 4 Is Fantastic & Well-Constructed

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really think Sony's Dual-Shock 4 is a great controller for a lot of reasons. I've been an avid gamer, my whole life, and I've grown to appreciate something that's ergonomic, light, and responsive to my input. There's a couple of minor gripes I have with it, but overall, I believe the good far outweigh the bad. I love the touch-pad. It's a great example of a multi-use feature and it doubles as an extra button, which comes in handy as I, as well as the rest of hardcore gamers, I'm sure, can appreciate having another input to utilize for games that necessitate it. The speaker doesn't really add anything to the deal for me because, generally, I wear headphones when I game so I can't hear the sound emanating from it when I play games that take advantage of the functionality. But when I wear headphones from time to time the sound pops and crackles on occasion. The only thing that seems to fix this is when I plug the controller into the system, then the sound is fine. That sole caveat aside, I like everything about the Dual-Shock 4. And that's about all there is to say.
