They are textured the same and Sony finally added a clear line through the touch pad, so you can see what the LED indicator doing without tipping the controller towards you.

This controller is much more comfortable to the hand, intuitive and has a great range. Love the new screen built in and game integration to use them and the little speakers that will add to game sound effects. Love it!

Good Design, Bad Price

I wish the price would drop on these since the PS5 is out, but they have maintained its ridiculous tag. The design is good, but a couple accidental drops on anything other than carpet or rug can cause some major drift.
