I got to be total honest with the random person reading this review. I purchased this beautiful golden controller for the most obnoxious and vainest of reasons. I purchased this gold controller so I can play Assassin's Creed: Origins which takes place in beautiful ancient Egypt. I pre-ordered the Gold Steelbook Edition through the good folks at Best Buy and I want to play AC:O with a golden controller in October when it is released. Sounds ridiculous right? Yes, I know.... don't judge me. I know some of you will understand.

Easy to replace an existing controller on a PS4 due to charging issue.

I purchased an extra controller for my son when I purchased his PS4 since I knew that even if he didn't play side by side games with his friends, he would enjoy being able to switch out the controllers when the one he was using lost its charge.

Great that Best buy got controllers back in stock. These remotes are a must have since PS5 systems aren't able to reach most gamers looking to get the new system.

My son has been using this for a year and no complaints about it.

This controller is no different than the one that came with my PS4 but is red instead of black. One suggestion that I have is that Sony needs to update their instructions to pair the controller because they are completely wrong. For those who have spent 2 hours trying to figure it out...press and hold the “share” key and “ps4” key for 10 seconds or so from the Bluetooth devices menu and you will see the wireless controller as a device to add. Besides the incorrect instructions, the controller works as expected.

Works well, just wish it wasn't so expensive. Looks just like the one that came with my Playstation

Got this mainly to use with the free PS TV that came with the bundle, but works great on the PS4 as is

My review for this would have been higher if it was simply in relation to use with a console. However, since I use it with my phone and tablet I have found 3 things that irritate me. First and foremost is the fact that I can’t auto connect to the controller. Even though I have already paired it with my phone and tablet, when I have my Bluetooth on it will not auto connect when pressing or holding the button. I have to go through settings and re pair it every time I use it. Secondly is that from time to time it will suddenly stop working in the middle of the game, even with full charge and no interruptions in Bluetooth. And third is that it will not accept charge off of portable chargers for some reason and will only charge via my PS4 or a wall plug in, which makes it very difficult to keep playing for long term on the go. Overall it’s a nice controller with very smooth controls, however it could be improved upon

Great looking wireless controller, it really stands out it makes playing funner and for some reason it feels better than the one that comes with the PS4

I just wish there could've been a limited edition controller as well but great controller by the b6.

Great price. Amazing how on time pickup Best Buy can guarantee from not available in store to order on line to the customer. No rain check needed. Very satisfied customer.
