As someone who has owned all the systems at one point or another, I really like the controller. The only thing I will say about this newest model is that the battery life doesn't seem to hold up very long. It always seems to be blinking at me on the screen telling me to charge it. It doesn't bother me too much for my personal setup, but it is something.

We got him the PS4 but we couldn't find the bundle pack in stock that came with an extra controller. He can play with his friends, family members, or even myself. Overall it's really good.

Love the New PS Controllers

One drawback I feel my thumbs slip I bit more often than on past controllers

It worked. The color is a cool option, kind of like the old Nintendo 64 controllers, but not as colorful. I think controllers are a little overpriced across the board though.
