Basic controller that feels good and comfortable when playing your games

Bought it for my daughter for xmas and its still holding on strong. Awesome color too.

The dualshock 4 is undoubtedly the best playstation controller to date, even with the mostly unused touchpad interface. It isn't as comfortable to grip for long periods as the xbox one controller, but the ps4 controller has longer joysticks which allows more precision movement and aiming in fps's, and the trigger buttons are vastly superior. Not to mention the sick, sleek, futuristic look of this controller in intense magma red and black. Definitely voted most handsome/beautiful in the class of 2013.

I personally think it is always a good idea to use controllers made by the same company as the console. PS4 Dualshock controllers are readily available at Best Buy and comparably priced to other stores.

Great controller per usual with the dual shock. The new purple color is the icing on the cake.

This is pretty much the best game controller out there for any console. The only con is that the battery life can be short due to all the features on the controller such as light bar, touch pad, accelerometers, speakers, etc...

Product as advertised just annoying these don't come with the charging cord

Going from a PS2 to a PS4, I was glad the new controller did not abandon the familiar PS controls. I like that it is wireless and seems to hold a charge well so far. As the battery ages, we'll see if it becomes a defacto wired controller because of poor battery life. The hype over the share button is stupid. Why would I want to post screenshots and videos of my games to social media? I certainly do not care to see other people's game shots in my news feed. Also, the touchpad is, so far, under-utilized and present great potential that I hope gets tapped in future games. Also a little more expensive than it needs to be, particularly when you consider that you have to buy a separate micro USB cable (why wouldn't sony include a cable that is no doubt cheap to make! -- if to upsell the sale of cables separately, I cannot believe too many people are foolish enough to buy their marked up version of the cable you can buy from other brands much cheaper)

After using an Xbox 360 controller for years it was a small adjustment period after upgrading my gaming system to the PS4. The PS4 controller is definitely smaller, lighter, and more ergonomically comfortable in my opinion. I like the light glow feature. The triggers and buttons are more touch sensitive than I would like when compared to the Xbox controller. The wireless feature is a standard now, but the battery life is short...I feel like I charge it more often than I had to with my Xbox controller.
