Awesome controller!

Good, familiar controller

I like that it is wireless and seems to hold a charge well so far. As the battery ages, we'll see if it becomes a defacto wired controller because of poor battery life. The hype over the share button is stupid. Why would I want to post screenshots and videos of my games to social media? I certainly do not care to see other people's game shots in my news feed. Also, the touchpad is, so far, under-utilized and present great potential that I hope gets tapped in future games. Also a little more expensive than it needs to be, particularly when you consider that you have to buy a separate micro USB cable (why wouldn't sony include a cable that is no doubt cheap to make! -- if to upsell the sale of cables separately, I cannot believe too many people are foolish enough to buy their marked up version of the cable you can buy from other brands much cheaper)

Battery Life

On a full charge and playing for about 3 hours, I was down to one bar. That is the only complaint because the controller feels solid, easy to handle and get to all buttons, triggers and joysticks very intuitively. The button push and directional control is instantaneous with no lag.
