its great with the warranty

If you play 2-4 hours a day it'll last on average about 12 months. It's actually very durable. If you that amount of time or more get it with the warranty. I've replaced the controller three times but only had to pay the full price once. If you play less don't buy the warranty. It will last you a long time.

All the buttons are rightfully placed. The only issue is the battery does not last that long. After a few hours of play, I have to charge the controller again.

Great controller

I bought the play station the first month it was out, and that was the original controller. That thing has been through countless long games of zombies and what not. Needless to say, this thing has been beat up over the years. It is just barely having issues. That says a lot for Sony. Great job making an awesome system with great components!
