I needed an extra Sony - DualShock 4 Wireless Controller for my PlayStation 4 Slim & you can't go wrong with getting another SONY brand controller.

Everything worked smoothly for almost 2 years but as expected the sticks wore out after lots of use over 2 years

You could never go wrong with having an extra controller. The change in the light position doesn't make much of a difference, but it is worth the buy.

Needed an extra controller for guest when they come over and they forgot their controller.

Works great so far. I have had several of the original design PS4 controllers have button failures sticky sticks or short battery life. This new design while not having any failures feels kid of cheap. The plastic flexes and buckles at the seams. I just hope it lasts longer than the last few.

The dualshock 4 controller is an absolutely amazing controller! It feels very comfortable in your hands, it has a textured back that is a little grippy for intense gaming sessions, and is an all around good controller. The sticks on this controller are vastly improved from the last ten controllers except for the durability. The durability of the sticks is the only reason this controller isn't getting a 5 star rating. They feel wonderful and the concave shape is helpful but the sticks on the controller that came with my ps4 are already wearing out and I have only had it a year. I am an adult and I take good care of my possessions I am not rough with the controller but the sticks tear up quite quickly.

I walked in my local area store after a night of Black Friday Shopping to pick up my normal bluray movie haul and as I walked through the video game section I noticed this controller out the corner of my eye, it was the excluisive clear red I had been looking for and had no luck finding in other stores. I was so excited & quickly grabbed it. Best day ever!

I don't have a PS4. I bought this purely to play PC games that require/play better with a controller. It works great out of the box...for older titles and some games that support DirectInput. With some extra drivers (I used DS4Windows), it works with pretty much every game, new and old, that uses XInput as well. I bought mine for $40 at a Black Friday sale, which is pretty much what it's worth to me.
