They fixed that and now the controller last much longer but the rubber on the joysticks wears off easy still. Using joystick extensions help keep them from wearing.

I then got a replacement and the r2 button broke in two weeks along with the rubber on the pads ripped. All I can say is buy the insurance. I also bought the PS3 controller pads and put them over the knobs
