This was bought as a replacement. My son reported that his left stick would stop responding when pressed in. It functions as the run feature on his game. Although in all fairness my kids play with them quite a bit. I purchased this one for a decent price on the black Friday sale so I'm not complaining too much.

It was a nice controller and a pretty color, but once I charged it for a whole day and it never turned back on. It just kept blinking orange and I looked up many guides that didnt work. I know that Dualshock is like that sometimes.
