No issues so far with the funtionality or durability of the controller as expected since this is the same controller you get when you buy the console. I have used aftermarket controllers in the past that are supposed to be more user friendly or comfortable but I've always liked the OEM Sony controllers.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the dualshock 4, I haven't had any issues with the thumbsticks wearing out, though to be preemptive I have started using thumbstick covers which work nicely. I love this particular one because it's red and really pops. This controller could not be more comfortable for my hands and I definitely prefer it to the XBOne controller, even though that controller is solid.

Huge Improvement

The touch interface seems somewhat gimmicky, but only time will tell if it sees some intuitive integration into future titles. The LED Lightbar is too bright at times, but it's not even noticeable 90% of the time. I love the shape, the weight, the improved shock/vibration feature, retained the (lightly used) Sixaxis feature, the redesigned L2/R2 triggers, and the redesigned analog sticks. The DS4 also now uses a Micro-USB cable to charge rather than the DS3's larger Mini-B USB. The reason I like that change is because so many devices out there also use Micro-USB cables. Including some I already own. One of my favorite parts of owning a PS4 is this controller. It's such a massive upgrade from the Dualshock 3, I cringe at the thought of using a DS3 ever again. Luckily the Dualshock 4 is compatible with the PS3 via the Micro USB cable. Unfortunately it's not compatible with the PS3 via bluetooth, but that might be possible in the future.

The camo is best color

The controller itself is just the dualshock 4, a vast improvment on the dualshock 3. I have no complaints, Sony has improved on perfect and as long as they keep developing the dualshock controler with this general design they will keep on improving on perfect for generations to come.
