Being in the older generation, I remember when you could buy a gaming console and when you bought one it had everything you needed to play with a friend without having to purchase a second controller. Having played with the new contoller, I also long for the days where you had a joystick and a single button - - much less confusing, but I guess I am showing my age!

5 grandkids use this controller and more of them. They wear them out!!

I love the new remote controller for ps4. The finger pad is real cool factor when it comes into typing in new usernames and such. Delivery packaging was great and the the controller is fantastic.

This is by far the best controller I've ever used. It conforms to the hands and the triggers are amazing.

Great! The toggles don't lag and transitions are seamless. Previous controller would lag so this is great.

I like this version so much better than the old one. The light on the touch pad is very helpful. Also I noticed that the analog sticks are more durable than the previous generation

i already had the one that came with my ps4 but it has messed up twice from normal use. So now i have 2 controller that way when one is getting fixed by sony i can be playing my games still.

The new sony controller for PS4 is much better than the prior controller for PS3. The control sticks have a better feel and the indentation on the top of the sticks gives the user a better grip.

I bought two of these because the PS4 only comes with one and that is very disappointing when you have 2 kids and an adult that wants to play together and most games are up to 4 players

Great controller, best I've used thus far, and I was a big 360 controller fan in comparison to the Dualshock 3/PS3 controller. Do NOT compare it to the DS3 or any other Dualshock you've tried before. This is definitely in a league of its own. AND you don't need a stupid adapter to use it on PC (Microsoft, I'm talking to you!). Currently sharing it between my PS4 and PC, but will be picking up the white edition when it's released to match my hardware!

The controller is definitely overpriced but it does seem to be better quality than the PS3 controllers (Regular and Dual Shock 3). Obviously, only time can tell but there are improvements to it that seems will increase its usage. Most grooves on the controller are now minimized. The two halves of the controller that come together during construction has changed position and the space between them now smaller. Certain small indentations where the pads are have been reduced. Controllers get dirty and grimy and often times it gets trapped between these spaces or collects along the indents. For example, the 360 controller has the space of a toothpick along the edges that traps dirt. I don't know how long the middle touch pad will survive but hopefully it doesn't lose its function or effectiveness over time.

For Christmas my husband ordered the Sony Playstation 4 for our 2 teenage sons. They both love it! The only thing I don't care for is the bright light emitted from the controller.

Sony made leaps and bounds with their controller. Fits your hand better, grip feels locked in. R2 & L2 trigger buttons greatly improved...fingers no longer slip of like the ds3. Analog Buttons much more responsive. Greatness

The Dualshock 4 is amazing. Fixes any problems i had with the Dualshock 3, like and improved d-pad and triggers. Plus, it adds a cool touchpad and lightbar! I think it will be the best controller yet, so 5 Stars to Playstation for a big improvement!

Buying the actual dual shock controller from Sony rather than a cheap knock off is definitely WORTH IT! I love the blue, its true to color. It works just as well as I needed it too. The overall performance is great. I did the sit to store and was able to pick up in literally 5 minutes. Great service and I used a $30 gift certificate so being a card member is worth it when it comes to these expensive, but needed accessories! :)

Love the color and its functionality. It does what it is meant to do and easy to use.
