The controller has been vastly improved over the previous generation. I don't understand the pad on the controller and so far it has been useless. Light could be part of the poor battery life which is why it gets 4 stars. It seems to have under 4 hrs of battery life.

The controller is nice overall, but it's inferior to the new model if you care about USB communication (no input lag).

Works just fine. I like the new controllers, love the lights. I recommend the charging station with docks for controllers

Not much else to say. It is comfortable in my hands and the buttons, triggers and sticks are responsive and tight.

It's not a terrible controller by any means but I do have a couple issues. The vibration only works sometimes in my controller. It honestly throws off the experience of a game if you are used to it working right. Oddly enough I bought a new ps3 not long ago and the controller that came with it had the same issue. So clearly they need to have better quality checks before sending them out. The battery life sucks. Going to try the recommendation of turning off the controller sound, it's kind of worthless to have on anyways unless playing games that actually use it. One pointless thing was changing the "start" button to options. It's the same thing just new name. Whining over- it's a good controller I just got a poorly working one.

broke the r2 trigger only 3 months in but it was easily fixed. made it stronger with a stainless steel rod instead of plastic

Great controller. Did the job. Run button eventually will go out, but that's why I bought geek squad protection.

had to get a new ds4 to replace the stock one that came with the ps4. nothing like that new controller feel.

does whats its supposed to do playing it with multiple controllers wish it had wireless connectivity with pc

Overall I am incredibly disappointed. I purchased this at best buy on 5/4/2020 and it worked well for a few months for moderate PC gaming. By August, the left joystick began drifting, so I sent it to Sony for a warranty repair. After paying for shipping and getting it back, I was able to play for a few more weeks until the right joystick began drifting. At this point I did not want to continue dumping money into shipping it again, so I borrowed a friends xbox controller and have been using that ever since.

This is an upgrade from the PS3 controller, it is more user friendly and much more comfortable!

We love the ps4 and all of the accessories! The vibrate feature is a fun addition to this remote.

Great controller. Improves on the DualShock 3 in every way but one. The battery life is only 3-5 hours.

I bought this as a second controller for my PS4, but it also works great via bluetooth on my mac.

For what they charge, they could at least include a charging cable!

After 2 years it was time to replace my controller because my thumb pads got wore out.

Can't go wrong with this controller, the haptic feedback and the vibration and the speaker are all top notch, I love the product and it comes in a variety of colors! Highly recommend to get it through best buy!
