Excellent Choice of Lens for E-mount Sony

I am a hybrid shooter, so I use this lens for both photography and videography. The image quality is excellent. This lens is also very versatile, performing well in a variety of shooting situations. Not only is it extremely versatile in the sense that it can be used in both large open spaces and smaller confined ones, but the glass inside of the lens truly amps up the overall quality and sharpness of your image and footage.

Amazing Lens!

I’ve filmed short videos, longer videos, used it as a face cam lens, and taken photos as well. Its quality is amazing and so is the auto focus it comes with as well. I definitely recommend this lens especially for its price and size.

We love to do alot of outdoor camping and visiting National Parks so this is a great add on.

Perfect and Portable

Although I loved that lens, it was very heavy and bulky for walking around town or taking to events. Decided I don't need the wider aperture for 95% of the stuff I'm taking. Sony did absolutely wonderful on this lens. It's very sharp and fast while being very compact and portable. 35mm is my most used focal length, and I love being able to use this lens without getting tired.

Classic 35mm angle, razor sharp and that 1.8 is gorgeous. Has already made me some money. The lens hood feels a little flimsy in the way it locks in place but it does it job. Lens feels quality as well. Im so happy with the results for less than 1/2 the price of the G Master

Best Sony 35mm for video

If you are looking for a 35mm lens for predominantly autofocus video work, this is the best 35mm sony makes. You can't go wrong with this lens. It truly has very good optics.

Great 35mm lens

This one is no exception. It takes amazing images and allows for amazing depth of field. Like most sony items the quality is top notch. If you need a lens in this focal length, don't hesitate.
