This lens produces great photos with low light. For portraits this lens is ideal without backing up to fit the object in the screen. Very good at close ups as well. I have very good clarity and bought the lens on sale.

I am very pleased with the quality of this lens. For the price, the 1.8 aperture is well designed for crisp image quality with that nice blurred separation from the background.

Great lens to be mounted on the Sony Alpha series. Photography and Videography wise, it is my go to lens for crucial shots and portrait angles. OSS works great especially for videos.

This is a great prime lens with a great depth of field. It also allows you to be closer to your subject in tighter spaces, and for that reason I prefer it to the 50mm.

Large apertures and OSS are always nice to have. It does have a bit of purple fringing wide open, but there aren't many alternatives to this one for a standard field of view on an APS-C camera.

Use this lense for night and indoor pictures. Great for portraits and also group pictures. I also use it for night video as it has a large aperture. Great all around lense.

Got this lens to replace my kit lens on my Nex 5N and love it so far. Great in low light, rarely use it in F1.8 due to narrow depth of field but love using it between F2.2-F2.8. Highly recommended.

This is by far my favorite lens. The background blur is is so good in photos and video. When I am shooting 120p on my Sony A6500 this is my go to lens. Solid build quality.

This is a great lens with the Alpha 6000 camera. It takes great pictures indoors with low lighting and no need for a flash. Highly recommend it.
