    this lens works as it should. its faster than the kit lens and works ok in low light. It's not perfect but good for the limited, affordable options sony offers. I would consider nikon or canon if you don't own sony yet.

    The reason I got my a6000 was to take pictures with some object/background separation. This lens for that bill with auto focus. The downside is the price. It's much more expensive than the 50mm.
