Great everyday lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very compact lens compared to a lot of other 35mm primes from other companies. The autofocus is loud, but it is fast and accurate on my a6300. Wide open, this lens is a little on the soft side, with maximum sharpness being found at around f5.6 Despite it's slight issues, I'd still recommend it over the Sigma with similar stats, mainly because the Sony is stabilized.

Stellar lens!
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this lens. I got into astrophotography a while ago and this lens does a great job for the price point. I also have a food blog and it takes great photos of the dishes I make. I also love the low light features.

Great lens for portraits
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this lens for my son, who likes taking portrait shots. He was looking for a lens where he didn't have to worry about blurring the background all the time, and this lens fit that bill. Be aware that you cannot zoom in and out; it is a fixed lens.

My everyday lens
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 35 mm has replaced my 50mm as my go to lens. Street, family, video. This is the best all round Lens. Yes it cost a little more but the flexibility in small rooms and close areas the 35mm stands out.

My Go To Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Without a doubt this is my go to lens for my Sony a6300! I honestly use it for about 85-90% of the photos and video I take. Super sharp lens, keep in mind that there’s a crop factor so it’s effectively like using a 50 mm

Best for our own need!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Either we are traveling or just taking photos of the grandkids, this lens is just perfect to focus on the subjects while blurring the background. The background still looks great but again, the kids are our concentration.
