It requires higher tier on DirecTv, which I wasn't aware of, but it was worth the extra cost. We have this one in our bedroom. Great sound without any add on speakers. We are happy. We have had it over a year with no problems.

Was never satisfied and in 4 yrs. the Samsung went black. I first bought the 48 LCD Sony and it would not stay focused so I bought the Ultra. Very Happy with everything about it. I would recommend it to a friend

Smart TV features are easy to use. The sound quality is a bit disappointing but we have a Sony BluRay and speaker system connected so it works beautifully, syncs on our Fios remote too. It's possible we haven't quite tweaked the sound options correctly yet.

This tv has amazing colors, frame rate, and start tv options. Sony knows what they are doing, and they do it very well.

But base on reviews price and size it seem to be the best choice. I have to say it actually lived up to reviews. This been said if LG had a curve 1200 I would have bought LG.

Initial issues but once kinks worked out great TV

Ultimately I think the problem was corrected when I used a new surge protector. I learned this from online trobleshooting for a different model of Sony not from tech support It is very easy to change modes!!! I love that. Picture quality very good.

Only problem is lack of a keyboard display to surf the Internet, YouTube, etc. You're stuck with only the options they display. Went from a 720p 32 inch to this 4K 43 inch. fits in great despite size increase. I can now read Bloomberg channel words and quotes easily which I couldn't do with the 720p model.
