I purchased this TV after looking for a smaller 4k unit that would suit my gaming needs. After much consideration of comparing all the smaller 4k TVs Best Buy Carries for around that 500-800 dollar price point, Sony came out on top. The 43'' X830C has a 120 hz native panel with image processing that gives you the Motion Flow Rate which is better for my gaming and watching hockey. Even without the Triluminous, the TV does produce great color (even when playing God of War Remaster) with the Reds and Greens that most TVs have issues with. The only thing that prevented me from going to the other brands is at that price point everyone else is a native 60hz panel with image processing and to get the 120hz Samsung was $1100. Android TV is also still growing with Twitch launching here soon. Netflix, Youtube, Hulu, Food Network (Cable Subscription required) are all available upon purchase. Sony also has launched the Playstation Now Gaming Service on the X830C. With the connections it does feature 4 HDMI 2.0 compatible ports The only thing that I wish was different was the TV coming with the Voice Remote - which I would have gladly paid a hundred dollars more for that feature. Still is a 5 star TV

Love it however I think I rather have the Toshiba Models The base bracket is almost imposable to figure out. I went to youtube and there it was easily explained

Sony's new video app distorts any wide screen movie/video played from a USB device. Until there is a firmware update this is very disappointing. Would not recommend if you watch a lot of movies from a USB device.

This is a very nice unit, at the price I am very pleased with it though it could have some minor improvements. I got the 43in 4K to replace another brand's normal 1080p unit in my bedroom. This unit functions so well, the apps work wonderfully, no drops or crashes and the unit upconverts to a shockingly gorgeous picture no matter if content is 720p or 1080p, the improvements to the picture are remarkable. In comparison against my experience with another brand, the Sony television is outstanding however there are some things I would like to see before I go on to upgrade my living room TV to another Sony unit. First thing I noticed was this set did not want to connect to my 40mhz band on my wireless, my other brand has no issue with it. That said this Sony unit is connected solidly to my 20mhz band with no drops, so that is good. Second thing I noticed was the sound controls of the base unit could possibly use an enhancement with more options, I don't really want to purchase a separate sound bar/system to level it out but I may have to if I can't the settings right for clearer voice. Third thing I noticed was the remote could use braille, especially at the volume control and smart function shortcut buttons. I know there are universal remotes but such a small improvement could be a great, generously caring bonus for those who don't see well or without a backlight. Please don't take these suggestions as complaints, this TV has convinced me to go back to Sony, it is a wonderful unit with well programmed smart functions. I am very happy with my purchase and am looking forward to upgrading my living room to a Sony unit too.

Well when I first got the TV, I was trying to figure out how to put the base on it, only to realize there was in fact missing parts, I called the store and they essentially said that was my problem. So I finally found the part online and ordered it, only to realize that the base they gave me for the TV is not for my TV either, so I still haven't gotten to use the TV, but overall it has been a subpar experience with the "open box" "no missing parts", when everything is actually missing except for the TV itself.

I originally purchased the Samsung 6400FXZA 40" 4k UHD tv on Black Friday for $449, then returned it today for reasons mentioned in my review on that product's page. I exchanged for this tv and couldn't be happier. This product has a super sleek and cool layout of apps, and I love that this tv allows you to search for and download other apps from Google Play. There's even an equalizer app to adjust the sound of music streaming from Pandora! PBS Kids (free app; easy to set up thru mobile) is great for commercial-free programming for my son; and I'm overall very excited to dig in and see what else this tv is capable of. I HIGHLY recommend spend the extra $$ for this 43" Sony. This tv is sitting on my dresser in the bedroom and it's perfect! The picture clarity/quality is sharp and clear with great contrast; as far as sound is concerned, I haven't experienced any issues (like some other reviewers).

The tv itself is okay, but it keeps knocking us off of the wifi and is a pain in the butt to get it back on.
