    Disappointed Buy

    I was disappointed in the brightness of this model, especially being a Sony. Whether the room was dark or bright, the TV wasn't bright enough. I had an LG manufacturered in 2012 that still works. That model looks and works well in comparison to the higher priced Sony. No depth either. I was wanting to give it some time to see if it grew on me, and low and behold, within one month, the TV suddenly would have audio only with no video whatsoever. Ultimately settled iwth a Roku TV at almost half price with 5-year protection plan.

    Do not expect a fully functional TV

    I wanted a TV to replace my aging Sony TV, Sony has always been my preferred brand for TVs. This is the first time that I have been disappointed in their product. It may be great as a display for embedded apps but it appears the TV functionality was added as an afterthought. The included remote is definitely not a TV remote, no numeric keys for channel input, no key for last channel, etc. The performance of the TV tuner was suspect as I had to keep reprogramming the channels. Trying to get help from Sony support was a joke, it appears that they must severely punish the first level support personnel because even after multiple failures on their part to answer my questions they refused to move me on to higher level support telling me "they could handle my issues", they couldn't and they didn't.

    TV set up was easy, picture quality is not as good as I expected. We own several Sony Bravia TVs and this one does not meet up to the standard of the others.

    WAS TOLD TV WOULD NOT BE PRICED LOWER IN THE FUTURE. JUST READ LATEST EMAIL AND REDUCED OVER $100. MY APPT. FOR DELIVERY AND INSTALLATION WAS CANCELLED THE FIRST TIME AS THE AGENT HAD A ‘FAMILY’ ISSUE. I WAITED THE ENTIRE DAY TO FIND THIS OUT. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. ON THE PHONE WITH AGENTS THAT BARELY SPOKE ENGLISH AND WAS ASSURED TO HAVE A FIRST APPT. OF THE DAY.. NEVER HAPPENED.. ONCE AGAIN…..7 - 7PM. WAS TOLD BY STORE MGR. GASTON OF A PROMISED FIRST APPT. NEVER HAPPENED.
