Q: does the remote control have a backlight ?
A: Hi maxfield, The Sony BRAVIA 2 (2025) comes with our standard remote, which does not feature a backlight. For a backlit experience, our premium metallic remotes are available as an optional accessory and are compatible with most of our Google TV models. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab
Q: Does this TV support advanced audio distribution profile? (a2dp)
A: Hi Lee, Yes, this TV supports the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab
Q: I have 2 floor speakers, would I be able to hook them up to the tv
A: Hi James, Thank you for your inquiry regarding your home audio setup. Most floor-standing speakers are passive, which means they do not have a built-in power source or internal amplifier. Because of this, they cannot be connected directly to the TV’s ports to produce sound. We suggest connecting the TV to an A/V receiver or amplifier. In this configuration, the receiver acts as the "brain" of the system, taking the audio signal from the TV and providing the necessary power to drive your floor speakers. For the best experience, the TV is typically connected to the receiver using an HDMI (eARC/ARC) cable or a Digital Optical cable. We hope you find this information helpful and thanks for considering Sony. Regards, Dominick
Q: what is the weight of thebravia II 43 inch
A: Hi ross, The Sony 43" BRAVIA 2 II weighs approximately 17.2 lbs (7.8 kg) without the stand and 17.7 lbs (8 kg) with the stand attached. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab
Q: Does this TV come with an optional frame?
A: Hi Pandora, The Sony BRAVIA 2 II does not come with an optional or swappable decorative frame. It is designed with a sleek, minimalist bezel to provide a clean, modern look right out of the box. While it doesn't have a physical frame accessory, it does feature Ambient Mode. This allows you to personalize the screen when the TV is idle by: - Displaying your own personal photos via Google Photos. - Showing curated artwork, landscape photography, or even the time and weather. This gives the TV a decorative, "framed" feel on your wall even when you aren't actively watching a show. Thank you for considering Sony! Regards, Dominick
A: Hi Ivyappletree, Thank you for your question! You can certainly navigate between the Google Home screen and your live Comcast Xfinity channels with ease. To provide you with the most seamless experience, we recommend using the Sony remote control for both functions by customizing the "TV" button shortcut. By programming this button, you can use the Home button to access your smart features and apps, and the TV button to jump directly back to your live Comcast channels. To set this up, please follow these steps: 1. Connect your Comcast Xfinity cable box to one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. 2. On your Sony remote, navigate to [Settings] — [Channels & Inputs] — [TV button shortcut]. 3. Select the specific HDMI input where your cable box is connected. Once this is configured, you will have the convenience of controlling your viewing experience with a single remote. You can simply press the TV button whenever you want to return to your live broadcasts instantly. We hope you find this information helpful, and thanks for considering Sony! Regards, Dominick
Q: is there a input to hook up a OTA antenna connection
A: Hi there, Yes, the Sony BRAVIA 2 II (2025 model) includes a standard coaxial RF input labeled "Cable/Antenna" on the back of the TV. You can connect your OTA (Over-the-Air) antenna directly to this port and then perform a channel scan through the TV settings to access your free local digital broadcasts. Thanks for choosing Sony. Best regards, Eliab
Q: Does the tv support nextgen tuning?
A: Thank you for contacting Sony, Bobby32947. This model features a built-in ATSC 1.0 digital tuner. It does not support NextGen TV (ATSC 3.0) tuning directly. You can still receive standard HD broadcasts with an antenna, but for NextGen features (like 4K over-the-air), you would need an external converter box. If you're looking for a TV with that tuner built-in, check out our BRAVIA 7, 8, or 9 series. We appreciate your interest in Sony products. This 43” TV fits my new smaller space perfectly. The color and sound quality are exceptional. It’s a Goggle TV, which was easy to set up and navigate. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Tv for the garage work out gym. Easy prompts to set up TV. Ethernet connected so Apps work fast and efficient. The host of audio and video features were high price points 5 years ago. Not so today. This TV’s features and price point was a no brainer to purchase. Highly recommended for a bedroom TV or small family room setting. You won’t be disappointed.

This purchase was for the office, it exceeded my expectations. It replaced a LG 43 inch tv, the Sony tv picture, colors, sound and Google operating system are excellent. Glad I purchased this tv, I recommend it to anyone looking for a small tv for office or guest room.
