To address the picture glare, please try adjusting the picture settings by switching to the Custom preset and lowering the Brightness or Gamma setting, which can often reduce reflections. For the volume, check your sound settings for any Volume Offset or Sound Optimization features that may be limiting the maximum volume, and ensure the volume mode is set to Standard. We are sorry to hear that you are finding the interface and picture settings of your new BRAVIA 2 difficult to navigate. Regarding the focus issue, this is often caused by high "Reality Creation" or "Sharpness" settings which can create an artificial depth-of-field effect; you can adjust this by going to Settings > Display & Sound > Picture > Clarity and lowering the Sharpness or turning Reality Creation to Manual. For the remote, we recommend using the Google Assistant button to find features via voice or visiting the Sony Support website for our interactive digital Help Guide: https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/product/k-43s20m2/manuals which offers much more detail than the printed pamphlet.
