While this TV has some great reviews, I'm not quite sure how some of the people for passed the flashlighting issues. That's to say, on a black screen, you can see portions that don't dim and even out with the rest of the screen, as if someone were holding a flashlight in the other side of the TV. Other than that it is a nice TV...but not having the triluminous is a big deal as well, because the color depth isn't there.

I love all the options this television gives me, from Netflix to Amazon Prime, to You Tube, to Hulu, etc. etc. It's almost like having a 55" computer screen.

Wonderful picture, easy to use Smart TV functions. Works well with FIOS and able to use IR receiver to work the tv and the hidden FIOS box with one remote.

This tv is smarter than I am. I will learn more about it when my daughter visits.

My son has not used this product yet as he is waiting for the midnight release of a certain game on November 6th

After purchasing this product it has very good clarity..and user friendly. Design is really well constructed.

I am very pleased with the picture It is much better then my plasma The only flaw is that the satellite connection has to be rebooted I think it is a firmware issue with tv

the picture is awsome. clear and watching sports is just like being at the game. Stereo voice is pleasant.

This is my first HD TV. The picture quality is very clear, crisp, and the colors are excellent! I didn't purchase a sound bar, but the audio is just fine. I haven't used any of the Android/Playstation/Google Play/NetFlix/You Tube features, yet. I'm thrilled with my new TV and the choice I made!

I got this TV on August 9, 2015. After doing some research I decided to give Sony a try with their new Android firmware. Opened the TV, set up the wifi connection and updated the firmware and it took me about 45 minutes. Connected a cable box, and two video games console using high speed HDMI cables. My first impression of this TV was positive. The he sound was ok but picture quality was AMAZING! Two days later I turned on the tv and I couldn't see any video from any of the apps, cable feed or game console however, it did have audio. After troubleshooting for awhile I decided to call Sony Support. After calling the 1800 number I got an after working hour phone number that after few minutes of hold it hung up. After a few tries trying to contact someone from Sony, I gave up. I went to the settings and pushed a firmware update again and once again it took about 30 to 45 minutes and the TV started working again. Two days later I had the same issue again. I decided I was not going to deal with these issues anymore, especially on a brand new TV. So after doing some research I decided to return the TV and get a Samsung UN50JS7000FXZA. Now that is a great TV! I really recommend you give Samsung a try.

Sony 4K Ultra 49" is a great television for viewing.

Easy Setup. Good picture with very little tinkering. Slow lstartup link to cable network.
