I haven't used the smart function yet but the menu looks easy to use and navigate. I have also thought that Samsung was the way to go for tvs but I am convinced now to stay with Sony.

Great intro 4K TV

Sony comes very close with this intro level TV. It has great wifi, great apps and a solid picture, thought the backlighting is rather dim. For the price, I couldn't ask for a better TV.
