My only complaint is that it is slow to turn on an and off which causes a problem with programming my Harmony remote to change settings where we need them to be when switching between devices.

This is a great soundbar, especially if you get it at $249.99 on sale. It's hard to find soundbars with rear channel speakers. This one sounds great after the update and callibration. It's also one of the few that decodes in HD audio (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA).

Best thing about this soundbar are the wireless rear speaker. This was enough for me to replace a surround sound system that I had before. After calibration and setup, it sounds loud enough for my living room. Sound is very clear, bass is very strong.

The system is awesome. Works better than expected. It replaced a 6:1 Kenwood System that I fried (15 years old too). My only advice is to make sure your entertainment center is deep enough to house your TV and the sound bar. Great product.

Had tried several brands of sound bars and they did not come close to the clarity and capability of these Sony 5.1. The wireless surround speakers (back) was not a feature for most other brands either, especially at that price point.

About 2 to 3 times a month i have to unplug and reset because unit loses signal. About as reliable as Comcast cable

I have been looking for a suround sound system for my Sonny TV for six month. I bought this system on sale. It is easy to install and delivers excellent sound effect fromTV or blue ray DVD player in my family room.

I wanted to upgrade from my samsung 2.2 to a 5.1 soundbar. This product was available at attractive discounts so I was tempted. I had to return it after 3 days. The sound quality and overall experience was not better than my samsung 2.2 sound bar. For someone purchasing his first soundbar this could be a decent one with bass and surround sound that too at discounted price. If you are upgrading to a better system look out for other better options.

Purchased this soundbar for our living room and couldn't be happier. Other reviewers have stated that it isn't very loud but I couldn't disagree more. It's plenty loud and the quality is outstanding.

Purchased to go with our Sony TV. Initially purchased samsung system but couldn't use remote with our TV, so returned. Sony surround sound was easily recognized by our Sony TV and provides good sound.

We wanted to clean up our viewing room with mismatched speakers and wires everywhere. The Sony soundbar did it all!

This is a very good soundbar. The factory settings of the sound are kind of disappointing, but if you set the speakers individually the way you want them it sounds great.

I was not sure weather this sound system would be good quality or not but it was actually really good . Packaging and quality are perfect and sounds are unbeatable

Produces great clairy surround sound for all movies, sports, and news which overrides the new high quality picture tv's that come with poor sound.

These speakers are great when you get them on a deal of the day. Definitely set them up manually. They are way too quiet with the auto set up

Easy to set up and pair with Bluetooth devices. Only complaint, speaker could be louder.

This is not a full scale home theater. It will get the job done for a TV room. Enjoy.
