It is better, but the way it is hooked up - according to the directions (we double checked them) - we can't seem to get the DVD player to work at all. The input shows the cable under DVD instead of Satelite. Not sure if we're going to keep it. Way too confusing!

I've tried different configurations but the volume and fullness is not great, which is surprising with the 5.1 components. Had bigger sound with a Vizio system that it replaced.

Worst product ever

I have made multiple calls to Sony, they usually get it working again, but it stops working repeatedly. I have the service number written on the manual because I have had to call so many times.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this for about 3+ months now and have had no issues at all. -Got it on sale from Best Buy for half the retail price -Sound is good for small-mid size room. -One of the only few soundbars with discrete surround speakers. -Soundbar has discrete drivers for center, left and right -Decodes DD+ EAC3 without any issues -Display shows exactly what signal is being decoded -On Screen Display menu -Comes with a mic for speaker calibration -Rear speakers and subwoofer are wireless. Gives complete independence of where you want to place each speaker. You only need outlets where you want to install the speaker -3 HDMI Inputs + Optical + Coax + 3.5mm Jack + Bluetooth -Has built-in services for audio playback -No sync issues between the soundbar and any speakers -Has auto and manual switching between two 5GHz frequency range for interference-free communication -Works great with nVidia Shield with HDMI CEC
