Great TV for a bedroom!

I have oleds in the other rooms so this is a step down, but its not a bad TV so far. Contrast is great and its not washed out at all. The only downsides sre brightness and viewing angles. The TV doesnt get very bright and the image does get washed out if you look at the TV from an angle. Over all a good TV and would purchase again but only because of the 50 inch options. There are better options 55 inch and up.

Great for the 1st week only

Worked for about 1 week and then i consistently received errors that it was not connected to the Wi-Fi. I soft reset and factory reset this about 10 times. Would work that day and revert back to rhe same issue. I moved it right next to the router and it still said i did not have a signal. I have 3 other smart TV's and none of them had these issues. (No they were not all being used at the same time so there was not a bandwith issue.) I called my internet providor and they came and checked and found no issues with my internet. They then advised it is a known issue with this brand that they will disconnect from the Wi-Fi and i would either have to run an ethernet cable to keep it connected or continue reseting at least once a week until Sony sent a patch to fix the issue. I took the TV back.

While we are glad you like the picture and sound quality of the X85K TV, we are sorry to hear that the unit has been returned due to WIFI connection issues. A recent TV software update has been released that includes a fix for certain TV models that lose their Wi-Fi connection under certain conditions.
