The reason why was because I wanted all the specs for my Xbox. The salesperson was really knowledgeable and explained how this was the tv that would meet my needs. Highly recommended.

Google TV doesn’t interact well with Hulu

This is a Google TV system and it did not work well with Hulu, which is our main TV provider. We ended up returning it and exchanging for Samsung model that works great!

To achieve the best picture quality, we recommend not exposing the screen to direct illumination or sunlight and avoiding installing the TV in a room with reflective walls and floor materials.

Not Thrilled

My previous fairly new TV had to be returned & exchanged as the audio system was shot. I received another Sony TV and the sound system on that TV is not very good. Once in the short time I've had this TV it turned itself on as the previous TV did several times in the wee hours of the morning. When it happened on the new TV at least it was during the day. Geek Squad coming today.

Sony Delivers Again

Well worth the extra dollars over a lower cost brand such as Hisense. One unexpected capability was the quality of the speakers in the TV. I did not plan on buying a sound bar and for a flat screen the speakers are better than most TVs.
