Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the Sony 50 inch X85K 4K LED TV. We are not gamers, just wanted it for viewing TV/Movies. Easy to set-up. We needed a TV for a well-lit room (windows/natural light on 3 walls). Picture on this TV is great! Reason I gave it only 4 stars is that we are finding that the buttons on the remote are a little finicky. But the voice controls works really well in the apps. Good TV for the money!!

Excellent TV - With One Major Flaw ...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this television to replace a Samsung I returned due to the miniscule remote control, difficulty adjusting the color, and poor broadcast picture quality. The Sony is excellent in most ways - great picture, large remote and good broadcast reception. Where it fails is that it's impossible to adjust the pictue size while watching Blu-rays or DVD's! I'm stuck with those annoying horizontal lines on the top and bottom of the picture and I lose 7 inches in screen size because I can't stretch the picture out to fill the screen. This is never a problem with LG, Toshiba and Samsung televisions. It's a major glitch that Sony overlooked because you can adjust the picture size when watching broadcast programs or "streaming". I spent a couple of days back and forth with Sony techs and Best Buy - I tried to return the set only to find Best Buy has a 14 day return window that I just missed. Now I'm stuck with a $750 set that is horrible to watch my disks on!

Open Box, Rough Shape, Still Good

Does not impact viewing from a straight-on viewing angle, but if you're standing off to the side it looks rough.
