Things look great -bursting w/colors & very bright. Menus on screen responds well. The return back channel is 3clicks? That's odd. Be sure to go thru all the menus and first thing to set is the Clock Time -Internet/wifi need this set correctly to connect. Enjoy the view. Look for update in 50days.

However, you can use the built-in Chromecast feature to cast the content from the Xfinity Stream app on your mobile device to the TV. Also, these TVs are equipped with HDMI connectivity which allows you to connect smart media devices such as Xfinity box directly to the TV.

I bought the 50" of this model recently to replace my Samsung, which I THOUGHT had a great picture. I read many tech reviews for the X85K, and decided to take a chance despite a few minor points about brightness and viewing angle. It is the best TV I've owned, and without spending five hundred dollars for an OLED, this is as good as it gets. Period. The reflections from windows and lights are not even an issue, so it is more than bright enough to look great for daytime viewing. The fine-tuning menu is loaded with options to get things where they need to be. The contrast, color, black levels and clarity are stunning. The audio from the set is better than any TV I've owned and makes the sound bar something I only want to use when I'm watching an action film when nobody will complain about the volume. From the TV itself, the sound is clear and decent. This is better than the Samsung, TCL, Vizio, LG, Onn, and Hitense TVs I looked carefully at, and was worth a couple hundred more than models claiming to be as good.

I love Sony, so bear that in mind when reading this short review. I love this TV. The price, the image quality, the Smart features - it's quickly replaced my laptop for YouTube streaming on the side while I work or do chores around the house. The IQ is good for the price. Part of me wanted to jump on the OLED bandwagon, but I'm glad I decided to wait another couple of generations. The image on this LCD is pretty good - the color adjustments are advanced enough to provide some ability to adjust to your liking (full advanced color options or just let the TV automatically do its thing). This TV is great for gaming. I use an XBox Series X for some light gaming and UHD video streaming and this TV keeps up with Dolby Vision, Dobly Audio, and 120Hz via EARC. My BIG gripe, now that I know what I'm doing a bit more is that there is only a single E-ARC port on the back of the TV. I didn't even know what this was until I bought the TV, but now I realize I can't have smart sound bar functionality alongside Dolby Vision on my Xbox at the same time... a bummer and seeming limitation of this set. With that said, I have no real complaints since there are two HDMI 120hz 4K ports on the back that work just fine for 95% of my use cases. Sound is kinda crummy... scratch that - it is very crummy. It'll pass for small spaces or if you don't care about quality, but you'll want to add a sound bar or external speakers if you are serious about audio quality. Bluetooth via my Sony earphones works great - pairing is nearly instantaneous and I get full quality along with spatial audio. I'm not sure what else to say, so I hope these small bits of information help someone. Happy about my purchase!

An Excellent 4k Sony Bravia TV

But this 4k Bravia - Wow! The picture is so realistic that it's like watching some things in 3D or like live performances. Sharp picture with deep colors. I really like how Sony still pays attention to sound output. You can adjust the sound to how you are viewing the TV - from a couch or wall etc. You can pre-adjust each input's output of sound so you might want the TV louder for movies and quieter for cable with a +/- adjustment before adjusting the general volume. Also, there's the ability to enhance voice or music for those of us who want to hear the dialogue and not have to read it on closed caption all the time. I found the TV pretty easy to adjust everything. I didn't setup the Google TV aspect as I have an external Roku device that I'm fond of. Overall, this is home run by Sony in my book.

The picture quality is great out of the box, and only improves with minor settings changes. More impressive is the audio. I'm able to get clear sound without the addition of a soundbar and at a lower volume that my previous TV. The GoogleTV features are easy to use, as is the entire Home menu. The TV sits in a room with afternoon sun glare, but there's no washout or bright spotting on the screen. The brightness is enough to overcome lamps and ceiling lights as well. My only minor nit, but enough to cost the rating one star, is the layout of the menus. It took a significant amount of time to find a specific menu setting to have the TV default to "last used input" vice "Home" when being powered back on. It's a nuisance not a showstopper, but the location wasn't intuitive. Overall, probably the best 50" TV available without going into $1K+ territory.

The picture is so bright and vibrant, it practically made my eyes bleed. The built in Chromecast is leagues better than other Smart TV systems- looking at you, Samsung. the speakers also pack a decent punch, to the point where I don't think I'll need to buy a soundbar. If you're a gamer, I highly recommend this set for the 120 Hz refresh rate. Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS5 looked like a whole new game on this TV after originally playing it on an older TRV set. All in all, I highly recommend this if you're in the market for a new TV.

Black are black color is vibrant . Great picture Quality. Easy to set up . Have a sony in living room. Had 2 Vizio in bedroom, they only lasted about about 3 years a piece . It’s time to switch to a different brand in the bedroom. I’m very happy and impressed with the quality and reliability of the brand I bought. This is how 4k is supposed to be viewed! This tv has a great viewing angle! The picture, color, sharpness is fantastic. The features and remote are very user-friendly. The speakers work well and sound very good. The tv easily connects with bluetooth speakers or headphones. Every Sony item i own is top notch. I have had this tv for over a month and I am very pleased!

I went to the local BB and I normally get Samsung, but the sound is not usually loud enough. I spoke with the employee and he directed me to this tv. GREAT purchase, it is loud enough without blasted the rest of the home, fit in the other spot, there was a bit of issue with trying to attach to the wall bracket, but other than that... highly recommend....

We are so sorry, but there is no numpad on the K series remote control. It has a new standard remote with smaller, sleeker, less buttons and easy to clean. However, the supplied TV remote has 123 (Control menu) button. You can press this button, and it will display a menu on the TV to use button functions that are not on the remote control on the screen so you can easily enter a channel.
