Great len to have for Sony Nex 6. Great for shooting portrait.

It excited my expectations! I love the quality of the pictures.

the quality of this lens is AMAZING for the price. but, as other reviewers have mentioned, it gives you a super close shot that you can't adjust so you have to take SEVERAL steps back while shooting. this is okay in wide open spaces. but, in most circumstances, i did not have enough room to take those steps back and i needed to switch lenses to take my photo. i wish i could say it doesn't bother me too much because i love the quality, but it's honestly a huge inconvenience.

I would highly recommend this lens to anyone. I am somewhat of a newbie to digital photography and must say this lens greatly enhance my shooting ability. Took some really amazing shots with it which I was very much surprise. You won't be disappointed with this purchase.

I purchased this lens as an addition to my kit - photography is a hobby I recently began, and I wanted to add options to my camera. This lens is a great tool for taking close-up pictures in sharp, clear focus. I'm quite enjoying it.

This lens takes wonderful looking pictures. Just in case you were not aware, there is no zoom functionality so you will have to manually adjust your location to get the best show.

This lens has everything you need for a prime portrait lens. It’s bright, quick on autofocus and very clear. Coupled with my A6000, it’s a light, compact package that delivers everything you need for great shots.

It's good for portraits and some scenery. Images are much better than the kit lense.

over all I am very happy with this purchase, and its doing exactly what I expected from it.

This lense is able to provide me with some above average amateur portrait shooting. I was able to mess with the focus easily and this works well with my a6000

I got this as a gift and I am so happy with it. Works the same as the other Sony lenses and is a great addition especially for taking senior photos.

Awesome low light and shallow depth of field. This is a must have lense !!!!! I mainly do video with my Sony a6000 but, it's great for photos as well.

I love the optical steady shot and clarity this lense provides. Subject separation is beautiful.
