This seemed to be the best value. There are lots of features and modes that take a while to get used to for beginners. But that is half of the fun with this camera and seeing the amazing pictures you can capture.

Love the lens, use it all the time for sports, swim lessons and anything outdoors. Get sharp images, fast focus and it just feels solid and well built, not toy like. And it fits in a small camera bag (think hip pack) for easy portability.

I bought this lens when I bought my new A6000 for a european family vacation. It works very well, it does not add a ton of extra weight. I found the photos to look great when using the lens except when i maxed out the zoom, which is to be expected ( i would think), but again, i'm not a pro. Very happy with the purchase regardless and i was extremely happy to have this lens on my trip.

Posted .Hi PreferAnon, Good to hear that you love the camera. It is possible that the camera will activate digital zoom if you max the zoom scale of the camera. It is normal because the camera is somehow digitally enhancing the images to give a larger representation. -Zander
