Sometimes I find myself too close to the action when using this lens. It really gets you in there, with great detail.

I didn't get the 210 lens at first, but it's a must have unless you want to literally be standing on top of what you're shooting.

Absolutely love the lens, took for a wildlife viewing expedition and it was perfect. Only small negative is the kit lens filters can NOT be used for this lens.... frustrating because the polarized filter alone was $45.

Takes good pictures with shorter focal lengths. Personally, I feel that the picture quality drops in long ranges.

Overall this 55-210mm lens is great if shot in day. It does poorly in the night for auto focus quite slowly. Great for a daytime zoom for the price.
