Awesome Lens

I take lots of photos (son's baseball and soccer games). I have been wanting a telephoto lens so I can get the shots I want from further distances. Gives me a whole new perspective! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Worth the money!

Though it does protrude outward quite a bit when zoom all the way in. Provides long reach, but is not suitable to be used as a versatile solution because i just could not use it to capture portrait. Manual zoom is not suitable for video recording. it’s quite a heavy lens. Only great for people who shoot pictures of wildlife or who wants long reach. I would guve 3.5 star.

Sure it doesn’t have zoom, but there is a reason why it’s called a “prime” lense. It has great low light performance which is where I like to work. And it’s focus and clarity is amazing. Now I need to find a good zoom lense that can also give me a wider viewing angle.

I think together it saved me $150+ dollars, and without that bundle, I probably would have convinced myself that the extra lens wasn't worth it. However, I would say that I tend to use this lens way more than the one that came with the body. Now I just have to round out the rest of my kit!
