Very, very good lens

Very compact, extremely light weight and sharp at all focal lengths. Its zoom control is entirely mechanical and not electronic, a very good "feature." Its built-in Steady Shot works well. I'm very impressed at the quality of photos it produces. Very glad I bought this.

Well built, decent focusing speed, decent image quality. 1 star off because it's too expensive. Other brand's lenses in this zoom range are faster (f/3.5-5.6) and cost slightly less.

I bought this lens when I bought my new A6000 for a european family vacation. It works very well, it does not add a ton of extra weight. I found the photos to look great when using the lens except when i maxed out the zoom, which is to be expected ( i would think), but again, i'm not a pro. Very happy with the purchase regardless and i was extremely happy to have this lens on my trip.

Posted .Hi PreferAnon, Good to hear that you love the camera. It is possible that the camera will activate digital zoom if you max the zoom scale of the camera. It is normal because the camera is somehow digitally enhancing the images to give a larger representation. -Zander
Amazing and affordable

It gave me everything I needed for taking photos while I was in Hawaii. I wanted something that gave me plenty of Zoom versus what I had with the original lens that came with my a6000.

He has pulled in some great photos from the observation lounges of various airports. Although we haven't done any enlargements, the photos seem sharp. There doesn't seem to be a lot of noise and it performed well under night time conditions.

Great Upgrade lense for a6000

This lens has produced great shots of both, thus covering many aspects of shooting with a long lens. My camera is a Dony NEX-7 and multiplies the lens by 1.5. I am very happy with this open box purchase from Best Buy.
