I used it on a whale watch trip with a polarizing filter and the pictures came out flawlessly. I also used it today to take pics of the eclipse. They were exceptionally clear even when I blew them up to a larger size.

This zoom lens is sleek, elegant and well constructed and provides excellent bokeh and stunningly clear pictures. This lens takes my Sony Alpha 6000 into another realm of photography that is not possible with the standard non zoom lens.

Bought as an accessory for a6000 for a Europe trip, did not take on trip, but used later at a HS graduation, works fine if there is lots of light, or for portraits in daylight, would not recommend for indoors or evening dim lighting. For action shots in low light a faster lens is needed. Would recommend as a first low cost zoom lens.

The product was purchased as an open box item. I found all the materials and item packed correctly. The lens is a great workhorse and works well with my Sony A6000. I took the camera to the Air & Space Museum and got some exceptional close-up shots that were in good focus.

I have a habit of always purchasing lens in the event that I need to take pictures of items that are far away. Funny, when I had my old DSLR I hardly ever used the bigger lens. However, with my new Sony camera I have used this lens a lot. Works great, no rocket science here.

This lense is really great for a beginner like myself. I don't know too much about changing settings to get the perfect picture just yet, but this lense works great for what I needed. Hiking and taking pictures from a distance to not disturb wildlife.

This long lens from Sony is an excellent product and the quality of the pictures is very good.Its an easy to use lens and we can easily. It helps for distant pictures and portrait pics .its a must have product for any one interested in shooting pictures and already has a basic lens.

I bought this lens as part of a bundle deal with my Sony a6000 camera. I've been amazed at the pictures that I've captured with this lens. It has a great zoom and stabilizing. I travel for work almost every week and I always bring my camera and this lens with me. It has yet to disappoint.

good zoom, I can also use the extra 2 times zoom or clear image zoom In the camera, the camera extends the zoom, cleans the image and you got extra zoom from the camera, works well, I used for some moon shots already.

I recently purchased a Sony a6000, which I have fallen in love with, and wanted a longer zoom lens. Didn't want to spring for the very expensive 70-200 right now, so opted for this. Not as sharp as I would like, and I expected that it would not be the fastest lens, but I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by it. I believe it would be quite adequate for most people's needs.

I got this in a package bundle on black friday so it was relatively free. It is the primary lens i like to use with my sony a5000 compact mirrorless. The lens attachment system is super easy. The lens has a good zoom distance and takes great pictures and focus shots.

Nice addition to Sony Alpha cameras for amateur photographers. Bought as a bundle with a5000 camera during Xmas sales. Best for portraits with blurred background, and for bird shots with telephoto and image stabilization.

Son is happy with this lens for his camera. He has learned how to use the different lenses to get the different effects wanted with his photos. This has saved him money from buying another camera.
