purchased this the same time as we purchased our new sony camera. natural fit as the lens that comes with the camera is limited. this gives the zoom needed to really capture what is happening without having to be on top of it.

This Sony lens is awesome! I use it when traveling to Alaska and have taken some awesome shots outdoors. I highly recommend this lens.

When I bought my Sony a6000, the 16/50 was the only lens that came with the camera. I saw this item at the store, and wanted the exta range that the 55/210 mm provided. It works very well , I am happy with the purchase .

A much needed accessory for the sony A7000. Wish though Sony made the lens on the Sony A7000 up to at least 105mm, then this extra lens would not be needed. However the price was $100 less if bought together with the camera

This lens takes great pictures. I bought this for my wife and she loves the new mirrorless camera. She has a large bulky camera. She likes the weight and quality of the sony camera and lens.

I bought this initially to give myself a bit more range than the 18-135 included with my A6400. However, the additional range wasn’t very substantial but the loss of use for close ups was, as well as the poor minimum magnification range.

I bought this lens as part of a package deal, so I got $200 off. I wouldn’t pay full price for it though. Pictures are not sharp at full extension especially if you are not in direct sunlight. This is to be expected considering the price range.

Love the camera, easy to use and now this lens allows me to capture distance and action shots! I am not a photographer but now I can get great pictures of my family!

Well this lens came in a bundle with the sony a6000. I haven't really got a chance to use this lens as I've been using the smaller lens. But i did snap a few pictures with it. They seemed to do the job fairly well.

Coming from a point and shoot camera, I was not real impressed with this zoom lens. But when I started to learn how to use my camera I have really come to like the lens. It does exactly what is supposed to and it's relatively light weight.

I have the mirorless emount sony alpha series and this was a great addition to the collection. Easy twist on application and even came with the lense hood.

This lens plus the kit lens will cover all that you really need as a beginner or enthusiast. The telephoto lens gives great image quality and not much distortion at the far ends. Good lens with the Best buy bundle deal i got

I would really like one of those fancy high priced 2.8 lens, but while I dream you cant go wrong with this one for the price.

This lens takes sharp photos, beautiful photos. Best buy also has a price matching program so I saved a little bit of money on it. The only negative thing I have to say about this lens is the autofocus is kind of slow and the minimum focusing distance is not great, but for the price it's a bargain!

I love my Sony camera, it is easy to lose and takes fantastic pictures even for an amiture. I never miss a shot of my nieces now because the shutter speed is fast and I can get close up with their sports pictures now with my new lens.

I have been very happy with this lens. I really had no expectation as it was my first telephoto lens for my A6000. The only down side is it does not come with a case and that is why I gave it 4 stars. The lens itself is a 5.

This is an average lens - it offers good quality and a good price. If you wish to get better quality you have to expect to pay a lot more. It comes with a lens hood to avoid glare which is awesome. Has an average zoom to f-stop value but is good for its price (when its on sale).

I purchased this product to add range to my 16-50mm lens. Though this lens probably doesn't give quality comparable to 70-200mm OSS lens, but at a price 1/5th - 1/6th of the cost, I am totally satisfied with this purchase.
