I did not realize that it is not a auto focus and it takes a bit of work to get a clear picture, thinking of returning it and getting a different one.

got this on a black friday deal with my sony A6000, haven't used it much. seems to work fine, but you have to have a very steady hand while focused far.

I found the lens was too heavy for my use, so I returned it to Best Buy. Because it was too heavy for me, the pictures I took were not of the best quality.

It’s good to begin with the camera. If you have extra cash buy a prime lens. The 50mm gives the best result for the a6300.

It is better to expend a couple of hundred dollars more and get a better lense. This lense is ok but definitely has room for improvement.

Bought this as a gift for my wife before we moved to a new location. This has come in handy vs what was the standard camera lens offered for the Sony.

it's kit lenses quality, nothing awesome but enough for doing the job. A little expensive if you buy it alone combos save you $200

Overall lens is average, I wish it was 18 to 210 or 18 to 300 in picture coverage range. Also would like it to be more cost effectve.

Sometimes it’s clear and sometimes it’s not. It’s definitely not good at all when zooming in all the way. I’ve found that it works best between 55-70mm but the more you zoom in, the less sharp and clear the picture is.

I suggest getting the 18-105 lens or the 18-200 (not the LE) much better image quality.

Save your money and buy a good fixed lens rather than compromising on cheap zooms.
