Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased my first camera, the Sony Alpha a7, which had came with a 28mm-70mm lens which was "okay" seeing how disappointing how far it could only go. Bought this bad boy and man it is crazy good how great the shots come out especially at long distance. Great buy and a must have if you want to put some distance between yourself and your subject of the photo

You are able to zoom a lot further with this lens than the standard one included with the camera. I recommend getting this lens.

It was considerably less to buy it this way than to purchase it by itself. So I got it and don't regret it. I'm hoping to keep adding more e-lenses to my camera in the future.

A bit disappointed in that the sharpness doesn't hold up at the full tele end of the lens, especially with a 24 megapixel camera. Probably ok for the lower res sensor cameras, but if you intend to crop and blow up your pics on an A6000, you may be disappointed with this one.
