I have owned the Sony NEX 3 for a while now and LOVE the camera. I needed a longer lens and was not disappointed at all! I have mostly used this to take pictures of my kids skiing behind the boat and for family vacations. It has been fabulous. Super easy to use and lightning fast to change out your lenses to get your shot. If you are thinking about it, do it!

The lens is easy to connect to the camera and adds great quality to the photos.

So crispy photos and videos. The zoom still quality results. Im glad i bought this lens as a beginner.

This lens gives all my videos life. You can focus in it properly

Just purchased my first camera, the Sony Alpha a7, which had came with a 28mm-70mm lens which was "okay" seeing how disappointing how far it could only go. Bought this bad boy and man it is crazy good how great the shots come out especially at long distance. Great buy and a must have if you want to put some distance between yourself and your subject of the photo

This is a great lens for taking pictures at baseball games.

This lens takes excellent pictures and is a great addition to the Sony a5000 camera. You are able to zoom a lot further with this lens than the standard one included with the camera. I recommend getting this lens.

Great zoom lens and gets good close ups from afar.

The lens was purchased with the NEX-5T as a bundle. It was considerably less to buy it this way than to purchase it by itself. So I got it and don't regret it. I'm hoping to keep adding more e-lenses to my camera in the future.

This is the first time I ever bought a lens to go with a camera and I think it was well worth it. We knew that we would be taking some distance action shots and they came out fantastic.

Bought this to use with my A6000. A bit disappointed in that the sharpness doesn't hold up at the full tele end of the lens, especially with a 24 megapixel camera. Probably ok for the lower res sensor cameras, but if you intend to crop and blow up your pics on an A6000, you may be disappointed with this one.

I'm still learning as I go on photography but I love the additional zoom capability this lens provides and it doesn't hinder image quality whatsoever.

it took amazing picture on my trip to Brazil and the amazon. lightweight and takes up little room. Great pictures!

I love this lens, dropped my first one and had quit the deboggle trying to get it fixed with geek squad ended up having to purchase a new one.

Added this lens for wildlife and in close sports shots. The value is there and ultimately a higher cost version can do a bit more for a lot more $

Not too heavy and good size for the range.... takes great photos at full length and shots were clear even without a tripod.

Great compact lens (especially compare with my pro lens). Sharp enough for the price. I would prefer electric zoom for video.
