It has Optical Stabilization built into the lens and it works really well with long range shots. Although the quality diminishes when using it hand held in low light situations. Tri-pod is reccommened. Worth the price, and defitely worth having one in your gear bag.

Great Lens!

The images came out very clear. I would suggest getting some ND lens filters to get the most out of them. Great product from Sony!

It is very easy to swap on and off with the smaller lens that comes with the camera. It zooms in easily and takes great quality pictures.

Its a little expensive but will be a versatile lens that can be used for almost any occasion (Almost like a one lens fits all).
