I have been looking for a new lens for my sony nex5 for a few years. After reading many reviews I opted to give this one a try. So far I'm loving it. It's not heavy and takes great pictures.

Very nice zoom lens. Clear photos. The lens that comes with the camera is has auto zoom. This lens does not so you must adjust manually.

Easy to use lens is great for the novice photographer. Lightweight and compact.

This camera lens is simple and easy to use. It allows me to capture a wider scope of whatever picture I’m taking.

I wasn't planning to like it as much as I do. I love my nex3, but with this lense it gets me closer to things I want to photograph or video record. Its a must buy to really get the shots you want. You will need to keep the smaller lense with you most of the time also. You will find at times that you have to walk far away to get the shot you want with this lense.

This is a great must have lens, it is easy to use, provides great quality at a price less than that of other lenses in its class.

Really good lens. Though if you’re looking to get a shot of a far range portrait, it is good since you can go up to about almost 240mm which is so far and the resolution doesn’t break. The camera i paired it with is a ZV-E10. Great combination as well. But you might wanna have a close range or wide range lens as alternative.

I LOVE MY NEW LENS, IT ZOOMS IN TO AN OBJECT GIVING ME THE CHANCE TO BE ABLE TO TAKE A VERY CLEAR AND PERFECT PICTURE, I LOVE IT!

This is a nice lens that takes decent pictures. It's lightweight and functions as expected. I don't have a lot of experience with other lenses yet, but I was quite happy with the results.

this is a fantastic value. comparable to it's canon crop counterparts and perfectly weighted for the already light emount cameras.

I didn't believe it until I had a few photos developed. They were crystal clear with no noise. I was at max zoom.

It's a great addition to your kit if you need a lightweight telephoto option without breaking your bank.

I bought this lens for our Alpha6100 to take on a family vacation. We have two Nikon DSLRs with long lenses but ever since we bought the Sony Alpha, it's been nearly impossible to justify lugging around the bulky Nikons. The only thing missing from the Alpha was a long lense. I have been very impressed with this product and it works astonishing well with the rapid shutter speed of the Alphas. I would say this was the proverbial nail-in-the-coffin for our two DSLRs.

I'm in no way a professional photographer and this is only my second lens for the Sony NEX-5t but I'm impressed by the long range the lens is able to capture. The handling of zooming is very manual (turning barrel so lens comes out) so it's kind of awkward holding a light camera with a very long lens, trying to capture your scene. I bought this with a bundle so it was significantly cheaper. I don't know if I'd purchase this lens full price though.
