Zoom is great. Lens is easy to remove and replace. Easy to use.

A good quality telephoto lense for my Sony A6000 camera that I use occasionally. If you are a professional, you probably want a better lense, but for the rest of us, this will get you a quality picture.

This lens is perfect for capturing distant shots and creating the depth of field type of photography (blurred background! It is not heavy at all easy to change lense for your camera also!!! Highly recommended for the Sony a5100

I've used the lens a few times and I like it. It's nothing special but it does a decent job for far away objects. I use it for basic further away objects and its done well. I've read about better lenses for the more serious photographer. I bought a packaged deal and this lens was included at $150 less than buying the lens by itself.

Easy to attach to camera body. Smooth in and out focus. Will focus sharp across the gym. I have used for sports outdoor, dance recitals in low light theater, and outdoor portraits. Focus is great everytime.

210 is enough to take a far picture for the moon and zoom in other every day stuff. Love the silver and vintage looking. I got it with the combo of the camera and saved some $$$$

I wanted a camera that would take clear fast motion pics like a DSLR without the trouble . It has the best of both worlds. I'm a beginner. But it has Autofocus and a very nice zoom! I love this camera. And am only scratching the surface of what it will do .

I'm only an amateur photographer, so for me this is a decent lens for the price, but I wish there were some improvements. The automatic focusing is fairly quick in good lighting situations and and images are sharp. Depending on the settings used in the Nex-5n, lighting can be a little difficult. For example, when using the fully automatic Intelligent Auto, the lighting on the live view is pretty good, but switching to any other mode (P, A, M, etc.) lighting is very poor, even with aperture and/or shutter speed set to decent settings. Now I'm not a professional, so maybe I'm missing some settings, but I usually get better results on Aperture priority using the 18-55 lens indoors. But the lens is great for stage shows with stage lighting. We went on a cruise and was able to get great shots of stage shows, without using the flash and setting aperture priority. I guess stage lighting is still brighter to the camera then regular indoor lighting (or the subjects are more brightly lit compared to the surroundings). In any case, I'm happy with the lens, though having to switch between the 18-55 and the 55-210, is somewhat of a hassle, but the price for the 18-200 is much more of a deterrent.

This is a nice and portable telephoto lens for starters. Also light-weight, which makes it easy to carry around. Great buy when you bundle it with camera. Highly recommended.

Great zoom on this lens! Only bad thing is you have to switch it out with the original lens that came with the camera to get the closer pics but the ones we need are further away anyways so that is not a huge issue. This was a great buy for a great deal!

We purchased this lens as our son wrestles and it is hard to get good pictures way up in the stands. It does focus closer and does take nice pictures. For the price of the lens I was hoping to get a closer view but it works for what we could afford.

This was purchased as a package deal with my camera. I am so glad I decided to do the package and get the Telephoto lens. This is the one I use the majority of the time and I love it.

This lens is designed to work with the sony nex cameras. The autofocus functions perfectly. No learning curve. Manual zoom and focus is also an option. And it comes in handy at times. I can use this lens to zoom in on my kids dance recitals and gymnastics in both video and still shot. BTW the NEX 3-n has great sound. As a bonus.

Great lens - versatile and easy to use. Manual zoom might be a kicker for some.

Zoom is fantastic for the kind of photos that I take. I love the fact that I can sit in the bleachers and take shots of my students running their races in both track and cross country.

I'm super pleased with my 55-210mm Sony lens! It is great for product reviews, landscapes, clear portraits, etc. The size is not too bulky for what it can do and easily fits into my camera bag.

I took this lens with me to South Africa. I wanted to use it for the Safari. This was my first time purchasing a lens for my Sony a5100. I absolutely loved it and the quality. Great for beginners.
