Purchased this lens when I purchased the a6300. It's good for getting those longer range shots that you can't get with the 16-50 kit lens. The quality of photos taken with this lens is very good.

I'm not a professional photographer and just wanted something that didn't cost and arm and a leg that would allow me to zoom into further away objects. Mission accomplished.

It's a slow lens with some less than flattering reviews. Yes it is a slow 4.6 -6.3 variable F stop, so you would think that it is a poor performer. It's not. The optical stabilization compensates for some of the slowness at low shutter speeds, and the overall bokeh is pleasing; no where near as harsh as the critics suggest. Toss in the low price point ($149) and this lens is a clear winner at value, sharpness, and build quality. For the price, it cannot be beat.

I got the lens for my a6000. Quality pics, center of the image focused well, edges not as sharp. Overall good quality for the price. Doesn't feel to hefty once mounted, surprisingly.

I bought the Sony A6000 and received the lens as part of a bundle. I love it, focus is great, so easy to change from one lens to another.

The Sony 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 Telephoto lens has been a great addition and a great upgrade for a beginner in photography.

I purchased this with my Sony a 5100 camera. it captures photos from a long distance very nicely I am very impressed with the quality of my photos!

The lens provides excellent picture quality, however the f-stop is extremely high. This lens would be exceptional if it was offered an F2.8

Great tele lens . Every bit as good as any of my previous DSLR and SLR lenses . Love the ability to use this and multiple lenses on this compact NEXt .

We bought this lens and the Sony camera to go with it to record church services each week. We have been very pleased with the image quality from this lens.

The lense is good if you want to zoom in something that is farther. I only tested it out once but haven't had the need to really work with it yet. For the price I paid in the bundle it was definiatly worth it

It was worth the price if you want a budget lens. I'm looking to add a Sony 18-200 lens next to my Sony a5100 camera.

This lens takes great pictures with the sonny camera. I love being able to take pictures of my children from a distance and they look likei was right there.

I have been looking into getting this lens for a few years. I've done lots of research and it is everything I need. I spend a lot of time doing nature photography and this fits with all my criteria.

Good lens, but it is very long (which is expected). Eventually plan to upgrade to the 12-210mm lens so I don't have to switch between two lenses.

Great lens. Easy to use. Makes taking pictures of distant objects a snap. I'd recommend this product to anyone with a compatible camera.
