||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The kit pancake is a great lens out of the box, but this lens really allows for some creative shots with great background separation and still bright enough for some decent bokeh. Optical zoom works by compressing the background, so it's not the same as cropping when it comes to image composition.

I'm amazed by the quality is the first time I had a Sony camera and I'm very happy with the lenses. And the portability is so much better than my SLR cameras
