Love this as it is paired up with Sony NEX5. A friend, professional photographer, recently used it and loved it! She noted how lightweight it was. Was impressed with the max zoom on landscape. Love replayed the photos on my big screen and hearing the ooos and ahhs as we zoom in on the pictures.

Got this lens as part of the package deal with the Sony A6000 camera. It is very easy to swap on and off with the smaller lens that comes with the camera. It zooms in easily and takes great quality pictures.

This is a great lens for the price. I expected a lot less and was pretty suprised by the results. If you get a good price, be sure to add this to you camera bag.

This lens was acquired to see if it would give me more opportunities to use my Sony 4/3's 5000a camera. The answer is unequivocally yes! For working in large areas where 5-6 steps are not possible, the 55-210 zoom really does the trick without sacrificing too much in the way of aperture in medium lit situations. it's fast, comfortable in my large hands (less in a woman's I imagine) and the image stabilization seems to work just fine. Sorry that I waited to buy this!

I looked at buying the Sony lens on Amazon and EBAY . Some lenses on these sites were very inexpensive and came with filters and other accessories , but I did not buy them based upon reviews but also questioned the quality, origin of the lens itself, and warranty. As such I purchased from best buy and they matched the Amazon prime price that was listed. Over all the lens works solid and zooms in great with quality photos. I would have liked to have the fully automatic lens with zoom and stabilization but I'm just getting into photography. Once I get more serious then I'll go and spend $1000 + for different lenses. I would highly recommend this lens and the quality.

Great lens for getting pictures of wildlife in their natural habitat or a distant portrait shot.

One of the biggest things I look for when buying a camera is a great zoom. And, all around this Sony camera is great, and so is this zoom that comes along with it. Compact yet powerful. Pristinely clear.

This was included with the a6000 bundle, and along with the 16-50mm lens you have a great focal range to work with. Image quality was great, and the zoom range is perfect with this.

Really happy with this purchase - I typically shoot with my 20-70 shooting predominantly portraiture and street at with my Sony R7II, but this lens had allowed more flexibility for long range shots. No issues with any auto settings as far as sharpness goes, but have found it is optimal at the center of it's range. Doesn't have any metering or sharpness issues while using my pro Gobe filters either. Definitely a great value for it's pricepoint - additional range in a lightweight and compact form.

Got this lens to go with my 18-55 kit lens. This lens is in keeping with the Sony system of small and light. I am close to 80 years old, and the Canon SLR was getting way too heavy & bulky.

I use this to take photos of my son playing hockey and can get really close and clear photos. Great zoom lens for my first one. I got it bundled with the camera and very happy with it.

I got this with my Sony A6000 and for the price it takes a very respectable picture and has great zoom. The only thing is it looks a bit awkward on the small body of the A6000.

This products zoom is great and the pictures are still really clear. I wish I could afford a bigger one though. Lenses get expensive and this one was on sale.

If you are looking to shoot sports or nature this is the lens for you. Great long range shooting for kids sports games or animals from a distance. Very sharp and clear images.

I was looking for zoom lenses in the last months and find out this one. I think it has a reasonable price if you compare to the other ones. The aperture is not the best of it but you can do great pictures. Good choice to save money

Great addition for the Sony A6000. I was able to get it in a package deal at a great price. The two lenses should fit most of your needs. Takes outstanding pics, great quality.

Have really enjoyed using this lens! For the price and quality of images, this lens is hard to beat. Great telephoto lens for anyone just starting off in photography.

Zooms great. Pictures are extremely clear. Photos taken with this lens are far better quality than those taken with the lens that originally came with my Nex-3.

I have not owned this item long enough nor I have I had the opportunity to use this lens enough to provide in-depth feedback. Here is what I do know: I got a great deal on it at Best Buy. The price beat Amazon by almost $150.00 Although it is listed as automatic, my camera will not fully zoom in or out with the lens. Final focusing on either end must be done manually. I will not say much about pictures, because I have not taken enough yet and I would not want to mislead anyone. The few I have taken on full zoom are great. Finally, if you buy a product, please share your feedback. Most of us value and depend on what our peers say.
