It's a rather cheap lens so you can't expect a miracle but I found my shots and the far end of the zoom soft and I was not impressed. Save money and get something better if you can.

But, the learning curve on this is so great. I am glad that I can learn and every picture at every range is better than the last.

I purchased this lens for a alround replacement and also purchased a Ziess 55mmm f/1.8 for it's superior optics. Best Buy also matched a competitors price on both lenses , which I always compare before I buy.

Part of what separates this from the rest. Fastest autofocus on the market. I don't buy knock off stuff and I am pleased with this new product line.

Range was a Seller

Amazing lens would recommend it to any photographer who does portrait photography not to much Nature photography nor sports photography.

Wish though Sony made the lens on the Sony A7000 up to at least 105mm, then this extra lens would not be needed. However the price was $100 less if bought together with the camera

nice lens

But when I started to learn how to use my camera I have really come to like the lens. It does exactly what is supposed to and it's relatively light weight.
