After reading reviews of this tv, seeing the original cost and getting it for $800 was a steal. The screen bleed is something that I can overlook for $800 opposed to $2500. Minus the screen bleed which you can hardly notice unless you look for it. It's great. Better picture than my 55" Samsung that's for sure.

I went to look at an LG and the Best Buy employee recommended this one and it was on sale. It has a lot of features but picture quality is nothing awesome, it's good. It was only $200 more than the LG I was going to look at but that one was not 4K and this one was 4 inches bigger and has 3D and PlayStation Streaming. There is light bleed which the employee lied and said it "was" a problem that they fixed. No it's still a problem. Picture quality at 1080p is the same as the LG plasma I was replacing this with. 4 hdmi ports is a plus because I have a lot of devices. For the price it's good but 2 weeks after I bought it, it went on sale for another $200 off. I paid $1000 and now it's $800. It's really not worth much more than that. You want a real awesome 4K tv go with a LG or Samsung and pay the money they are worth, not Sony. They haven't figured it out yet.

I had my eyes on this tv for a long time. When it dropped from $1300 to $800 in the course of a couple weeks, I had to buy it. This thing is crazy thin and looks fantastic. Tons of picture modes for optimization. It was my first smart tv so figuring how to work the menu had a learning curve, but I love that I no longer need my Xbox for Netflix. The input lag is really low so it works great for gaming. Much better than the 55" LCD insignia from which I upgraded. Highly recommend this tv, or go for the OLED option if you can afford it.

Only been a couple months but so far no major complaints.If you want to be picky they could have a better stand. But the picture is great.

I was amazed by the picture quality. How nice it looks up on my wall with the included bracket. Really happy with my new Sony XBR-55X900C.

I purchased this tv because it was on sale. I have 3 other 4K TXV's all Samsung. All I can say is I will only buy Sony TXV's from now on.

Love my new tv. Its beautiful on or off. I particularly appreciate the design and attention to the rear connections and back cover pieces for organizing cables and connection. The only "minor" complaint is that the power cord is on one end of the tv while all the other cabling in on the other end - this would have been better to provide the power connection where the rest of the cables and connection are. I was also surprised the power cord is permanently attached and not a detachable power cord more common with todays electronics

This Sony Ultra Hd has the best picture that I have ever seen. I just left it on the factory settings because I could not improve on them.

I can't believe how thin the TV is and how clear the picture comes in. I've been waiting for a great sale to purchase this TV and got one.

I went into Best Buy to actually but a Samsung, luckily I found a very knowledgeable salesman and bought the Sony, I couldn't be happier

A very nice TV, good picture. Doesn't have all the latest and greatest, but has more than enough for most mainstream users, I bet.

Overall I have enjoyed the picture quality. My biggest issues are the lack of guidance provided by Sony for understanding all the features and some of the presettings that made me believe something was wrong with the TV. Once I googled some of the issues everything seems to be fine now.

Excellent TV that we are enjoying. Good sound and the picture is very clear and much better than any TV we have owned before.

Great tv, good price, easy set up. I would recommend the Sony. This one replaced my previous Sony tv that I had for 17 years.

I bought this TV because I had a budget of $1000. I knew it had tons of features, but the 3d ready was a nice added surprise!

We are really enjoying this TV. I love the beautiful picture it gives. The picture looks pretty real like looking outside your window. And it looks like 3D without any glasses. It also comes with two remotes and one of them is a touch/voice remote. Gotta love it! You just say Greys Anatomy or whatever you want and it takes you there. What could be easier than that to find your favorite shows? Overall it's beautiful! I just wish I could of afforded the 65inch. That would of been awesome!

The tv is 5 star, but I didn't realize that the mount for it is unique and doesn't work well if there are protrusions on the wall. The Geek Squad guys did the best they could but the unit tilts upward, and supposedly the mount can't be modified. Not too well engineered, Sony people!

The picture is sharp and clear. The colors are vibrant. It thin and light weight. We are very pleased with the purchase.

The clarity and picture pixels bring out the best in whether you are watching shows in 720p, 1080, or 4K.
