    After being assured by Best Buy guys that the backlight problem other reviewers complained about had been fixed, brought it home. Corners and sides shine like spotlights in moderately low light. Bummer! Now the hassle begins with returns, pickups, etc. Dont buy this tv. It looks good at the store, but not at home.

    This TV has horrible flashlighting problems...I returned this model within 24 hours of purchasing. I was told this issue was corrected by Sony, but that is not true. My unit had a build date of November and still had the issue.

    We purchased a Sony this time after our 5 year old LG 55" TV packed it in. The shop assistant alerted me to the importance of having a "high dynamic range" TV if we spend a lot of time watching sports - which we do. He therefore steered me towards the Sony and away from the Samsung at the price point I was at. The TV has performed very well during the Olympics.

    Tv is great. Only complaint is that it was a floor model because they were sold out. It seems like there's a strange bubble ish type thing along the bottom of the tv but it doesn't affect the screen.

    Actually my purchase was a Sony 49" 4K and I love it. My previous purchase was the 55" which died and I was refunded the full purchase price after almost 4 years of use so my new TV only cost a few dollars more than the refunded price. Thanks Best Buy and Geek Squad.
