Best tv ever ..very happy to have purchased it....

The picture isn't nearly as clear as I thought it would be. This is the first Sony TV I've been disappointed in.

I here a pop in speakers once in awhile and can not repdouce it. Would I reccomend it no!!!

There are many software bugs specially with waking up and communication with the woofers and speakers

Tryed it out but the internal wifi is not very good it's a low end smart TV with hdr

I bought this tv after returning the 55JS9000 and I am satisfied. First off, let me say that Sony is just a true Cinema experience. Now the x900c isn't excellent but great. Thin is and understatement along with beautiful picture detail and color; TRUE COLORS. Now I watch movies and play games in excess. Blurays and HD cable tv is a strong point here. Blurays blow you away with picture clarity, color and detail. Tv has a lot of picture depth to it. Very immersive images on the screen. This is excellent at 3D. It uses Passive technology which is the same thing you see at the theaters and for me, through so many different tv's, this is actually better then a handful of LG's that use the same passive tech. There isn't any ghost edges known as crosstalk in 3D mode aswell. Being that 3D is moving away from tv's, it's cool to have it on a display; especially passive 3D due to the fact that it's the old fashion way and most displays adapted the active technology. PS4. I game hard and my thing is 1st person shooters. The tv is very responsive with PS4. Games operate smooth and the blur control is great on this set... I mean you actually enjoy the graphic visual produce and again color, clarity and depth. GTA5 looks nice!!! The audio is ok. Now with any LED tv, your not going to get that sound your looking for from the tv unless you had a x930c or x940c. I use a 5.2 in a bedroom so no issues there but for pure tv sound, it is enough for a bedroom at best... Now my only downer bout this TV is that a number of consumers complained about light bleed and clouding. I did a lot of research and was still a bit ify but the thin panel said take me home. Now I do have a small amount at lower right corner and mid towards Sony logo but it's no deal breaker for me as I've seen most is just unbearable. It's to the point that I don't see it when I'm actually watching blurays. Regular HD tv is usually full screen I the light can't be seen at all then... Overall I would recommend this set being that your not the pickiest of perfection due to the fact that some of these units come with the light bleed flaw. Note: watch how you handle it when carrying, don't pressure the edges or it will bleed. 4.5 stars, it does have a bit of bleed.

Purchase after reading all the bad reviews and I thought I would still give it a chance all the bad reviews are true if you like good quality picture this is not the TV for you. TV has good features but that's about it

Got it becasue they said Sony was the best for ps4 but it's not at all looked horrible and the HDR isent the best either nor is the screen mirroring. If the TV was around 800 could be worth it but not really 4k and when it comes close too much lag. All in all very disappointed not worth the money spend the 200 more for a much better tv

I purchased this set in hope that it was unaffected by the light bleed issues. Unfortunately I believe all of these sets have issues where the edge lighting is not uniform and causes cloudiness in the picture. I returned this tv before I could test the 3d but I will say that the menus are not user friendly and it comes with 2 remotes and one is a weird touch style remote. Overall I would not recommend this set to anyone and can say that anyone who buys a Sony TV could have gotten a much better set for less money.

You better make sure you buy an extended warranty if you buy any Sony TV. They don't last long. I should know. After the 1st year the warranty expired and so did the tv. It was not this TV but a Sony XBR55900c 4K tv. Sony knows they have component quality issues but won't help you after day one of your expired warranty. I won't buy another Sony television after getting screwed.

disappointed that the stands wasn't in the center. it didn't show in the show room

First off as a 4K TV this was a excellent set. it had a amazing picture, incredible motion handling, very vibrant color's and even a good audio from the built in speakers. BUT this expensive tv only lasted me 2 years from normal use. The set never left its mounted stand and was never bumped into or damaged/misused in any way. It just decided to call it quits one day and shut down and then flash 4 times in the LED indicator light at the center bottom of the set. I tired EVERYTHING to get the set to start up but had no luck. After looking online i seen this is a VERY common issue and SONY really needs to address this! NOT Happy and i will not be buying another SONY product!

And I returned it. I had light bleed all along the bottom and bottom corners. I was going to simply exchange it, but then I saw the 850D 2016 model. It was on sale so I ended up getting that one instead.

LED bleed in the corners, terribly low brightness, heavy calibration needed to make it look decent. Save the extra $500 and get a real 4K tv.

This model has had a bad reputation since its debut but despite earlier reviews on various websites about light bleed, more recent reviews have indicated that this issue had been resolved. Unfortunately it hasn't. As soon as I powered it up light bleed was apparent at the bottom right corner of the screen, across the bottom and the bottom left. Letterboxed films are virtually unwatchable. I'm retuning it this week for a refund and will weigh my options when I get to the store but I'm somewhat hesitant to consider another Sony.

Had a horrible light bleed around the whole edge of the TV would not recommend to anybody

It run perfect for one 14 months only and then stopped working. Thanks to god that i had the protection plan, otherwise, I would have lost my $1500 that i paid for this TV. I don’t know why I waited 2 years to write this review which could have saved a lot of people from taking the risk.

We had this TV for almost 5 years and it died on us.

Wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be and the tv is slow at loading
