I ordered this tv the first day it became available. Immediately I noticed white light bleeding through the bottom right of the screen as well as the entire bottom edge. I returned the tv for another hoping it was just a bad screen. As soon as the geek squad plugged in the replacement it had the same exact issue on the bottom left hand side of the screen. I took both back and got a Samsung

This Tv has terrible light bleeding issues. The one in showroom looked great and was so disappointed when I first turned on the one I purchased. All around the bottom of screen were flashlight effects. A higher end product like this should not have those issues. Always buy Sony products and am so bummed that this one turned out to be a lemon. Read reviews here and now know this model has this issue more times than not. Returning it tomorrow.

Great TV. Even after 7 years, it’s still going strong

I have always been a fan of sony, have a ton of sony product. I have received 3 different 900c TVs all with the same issue.....I get it things happen BUT when I called Sony to see what my options where, I was told that since I did not buy it on their website that there was nothing they could do for me......um? didn't you manufacture the product? I couldn't believe that answer...I than request a call to discuss it with someone from sony......never called.....im speechless at this point and lost all faith in Sony customer service.

stay away from this one pre warning.. light bleed on both sides of tv called customer service for Sony sent them pics of tv called me back and said they didn't see anything on the screen luckily best buy was able to do something about it don't didn't help me at all never buying a Sony tv agian

Great Picture, great price, cant complain with purchase of my product

My favorite feature about this TV is the perfectly flat screen. There is no beaded plastic edge around the TV. Picture has been great regardless what others have said.

I brought this TV today with the understanding that I can install the stand in the middle of the TV. However, there are no pre-drilled hold in the middle of the TV for the stand. Since I don't want to ruin the TV, I'm going to return it tomorrow. The pre-set screw for the stand on both end of the TV is too wide for my TV table.

The TV worked fine for about 2 years. We actually had a problem after about 9 months and it was fixed for free. There was a board that needed to get replaced. I forget what the problem was at that time, but it got fixed. After we had the TV for about 2 years, it started shutting off for no reason. It needed to be unplugged in order to turn it back on again. Then it would shut off again - this happened every few days or so. It got worse and wouldn't stay on for more than an hour, so we contacted Sony and they said it was out of warranty. I contacted the authorized Sony technicians in our area and he suggested that I ask Sony for a 1-time freebie to fix this problem since it is obviously their fault, and it shouldn't happen this quickly. Sony refused me - I actually asked if I could take out an extended warranty now and make it retro to when I bought the TV, but they wouldn't work with me at all. We bought a new Samsung for about as much as I would need to pay to get the Sony repaired. [We got the extended warranty too].

The picture color and clarity is unbelievable. The sound could be better. For a really thin tv it weighs quite a lot. The extras like being able to talk to the remote and the apps are a game changer.

Spoke with multiple sales staff at my local Best Buy. All recommended the Sony line and told me that the issue with the light bleed was fixed. Guess what, pick up my 55" tv today and go through the set up and what do I see in the corners. Light Bleed. Now I get to pack it up and return it tomorrow. Had to wait 3 weeks for the tv to come in and then get stuck with this.

This TV looks amazing! It is so thin and the contrast is just beautiful. Replaced a 52" LCD samsung with this. My son has a 60" 4K samsung and this is (in my opinion) a better looking display.

The TV looks absolute stunning in the living room. however, it has a major flow - the white light bleeding from all 4 corners which is more evident during dark scenes. I am considering returning it.

We love this TV! The picture quality, definition and color are fantastic! No really! We also have it mounted on the wall and you can see it easily from all angles. Well worth the price!

After reading reviews, checking everything on the Internet, I decided to give a try and get one 55x900c. My tv was from March 2016 so was fresh delivery, but still got same problem with light bleeding... I just waisted 4-5 hours to pick it, set up and later put it back to the box and return.

I purchased this tv with the sole expectation of watching football, Netflix, and Hulu. Best purchase I've made in a while.

My SONY 3D is by far my best tv investment. The pic, colors are good. Lots of apps. great tv

I bought a Sony 3D 4K TV (XBR-65X850C 65-Inch 3D 4K Ultra Smart Android LED HDTV) from best buy 2 months ago. We were not able to play 3D content. I called Sony support before 3 Weeks, they tried to remote to my TV and tried several things, 3D was still not working. Every evening i had to be with them on a call. So far nothing is sorted out. They will say that they will call with in 24 hours, even after waiting for 5 days. I never got a call from them. If in case you want my case number, E62596350. I feel thier techinicians doesn't know thier own products. Thier customer support is a night mare. BEWARE OF SONY TVs. Its worthless for the money we pay.

We are really enjoying the tv. So sleek and fit the room perfectly. As informed. A tad bit of light comes through while the screen is completely black, but doesn't bother us
